Flowmage or Power Automate?
A fair comparison.

Power Automate comes with many Microsoft licences and is strong within Microsoft 365. Once integrations span your whole landscape, with Dutch software, personal data and processes that must keep running, it asks for something else.

Choose Power Automate if…

  • You mainly automate within Microsoft 365: approvals, alerts, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Employees build small flows for their own work.
  • You already have the licences and the flows use no premium connectors.

Choose Flowmage if…

  • You connect systems outside Microsoft, such as AFAS, Nmbrs, Exact, Carerix or Magister.
  • The integrations are business-critical and IT wants to manage them centrally.
  • You want a predictable price, not per user or per process.
  • Data and AI must stay in the Netherlands.

Where the difference is.

01

Licences per user or process

For premium connectors, like HTTP and many non-Microsoft integrations, Power Automate requires premium licences per user or per process. The more you connect, the harder the maths. Flowmage has one fixed fee, with unlimited flows.

02

Dutch software out of the box

For many Dutch packages Power Automate has no ready-made connector, so you build one yourself via HTTP or a custom connector. In Flowmage they are standard, and we know their quirks.

03

One place for IT

Power Automate flows often belong to individual employees, spread across the organisation. In Flowmage you see every integration in one place, with test and production apart and every run on record.

04

AI without a US cloud

Flowmage runs its own AI models, trained on Dutch data, in Dutch data centres. Nothing is logged by default and your data is never used for training.

05

A team that picks up

With a question you get someone who knows your environment, not a ticket in a global queue. On average we respond within five minutes.

Frequently asked questions.

Can Power Automate and Flowmage live side by side?

Yes, and we see it often. Employees keep their small flows in Microsoft 365, and the integrations between systems run through Flowmage, managed centrally by IT.

Does Flowmage work with Microsoft 365?

Yes. Flowmage connects to Entra ID, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and the rest of Microsoft 365, through Microsoft Graph.

Can we switch from Power Automate?

Yes. We go through your existing automations, rebuild them in Flowmage and run both side by side for a while. Only when everything checks out do you switch the old ones off.

What does Flowmage cost?

Flowmage has one fixed monthly fee, with unlimited flows and runs. Implementation and support are billed on use. In a demo you get a price that fits your situation.
